Please follow up with the your network team. From the trace route it seems that the request is timing out in HAL environment.

If necessary you can call SABRE (1-800-678-9460) to setup a conference call with HAL network team and SABRE technical team.

Sudo for web_app

Sridhar,

I found the issues for using sudo to the webapp account. You need to run the following command in order to become the webapp user.
"sudo -u webapp /bin/bash" then enter your passwd. If you are in your home directory you will get a permissions error like the one below.

[szb@haldevjbs01 ~]$ sudo -u webapp /bin/bash
bash: /home/szb/.bashrc: Permission denied

That is because the user webapp doesn't have write permissions in your home directory but you are now user webapp. Just cd out of your home directory. If you want to make sure your now webapp type "id" on the command line.

I spoke with Harold yesterday and he got the necessary info from the above wiki page and he restarted the App.

Changing Firefox Icon in VM

Use following command to locate firefox installtion:

$locate firefox

To determine location of icon PNG file, just in case

It's currently located here:

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/firefox.png

Right-click the browser icon in your VM choose properties, and then click the current icon, navigate to the following folder, and then click icon and choose the firefox.png icon.

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/

I have restarted ezAir test.
When requesting to restart this application can you refer to it as ezatst on haltstapp03. That way we won't get it confused with webtst which are different apps.
