You can show the SQL being generated in the log file by setting the showSql parameter to true in hal-web/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/config/spring/spring/webapp-jpa.xml, line 31.  You’ll need to rebuild the application and restart it after changing this parameter.

Adding admin to Hudson

The person needs to use the same account they use to logon to Hudson.

  • Manage Hudson
  • "Authorization" section, use the same UserID used to logon to Hudson

 

Manually Deploy an EAR File

How to manually deploy an EAR that is already been pushed to a jBoss server:

As root:
service jboss stop
cd /home/hudson/deployer-tmp/
rm -Rf /var/lib/jbossas/server/$(uname -n)/deploy/hal_webapp.ear
cp hal_webapp.ear /var/lib/jbossas/server/$(uname -n)/deploy/
chown jboss.jboss /var/lib/jbossas/server/$(uname -n)/deploy/hal_webapp.ear
chmod 644 /var/lib/jbossas/server/$(uname -n)/deploy/hal_webapp.ear
service jboss start

And the new dist list for web:

haldistlistwebbuildnotify@hollandamerica.com, haldistlistisunix@hollandamerica.com, haldistlistitwebsiteteam@hollandamerica.com

SQL Script Recommendations

Also, as a matter of practice the DBA’s have asked us to add the following items to our SQL scripts:

Set echo on

  • Alter system set current_schema=<schema>
  • The / for execution on triggers, procedures, etc
  • Remember: DDL statements do an implicit commit

There is an example script right now for the 12.50 deploy too:
