SFTP with MyCloud

It looks like they disabled local FTP access with MyCloud but you can access the server locally with sftp and the master account sshd, and your master password, using File Zilla or other sFTP clients.

Sideload / Install APK on Amazon Fire

Swipe down from the top of the screen and press Settings. Scroll down to the Personal section and press Security. Under Advanced, turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. You’ll see a warning about being responsible for all damage to your Fire that unknown source apps can do. This would be a good time to mention that while this is an easy process, you do it at your own risk. Press OK.

Use a Chrome extension to find the APKs you want to use. I used X-plore File Manager to install. I had to add that application as having security to install from above.

I uploaded the APK onto the shared drive and then installed with X-plore File Manager, by just clicking and choosing install.

To activate Scam ID: Dial #ONI# (#664#) > press the call button.

To turn off Scam ID: Dial (#634#) > press the call button.

GoDaddy SSH Issues

Refer: closed-by-remote

It looks like there are two issues. Use a VPN and also, do not automatically send password, make it a manual step. It looks like GoDaddy blocks it, if it looks automated like a hacking attempt. Basically, type your password in manually.

echo "password"

# DEBUG MODE
### ssh -oConnectTimeout=300 -oHostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-dss userid@XX.XX.XX.XXX -vvv

# NORMAL MODE
ssh -oConnectTimeout=300 -oHostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-dss userid@XX.XX.XX.XXX

I keep getting blocked out of ssh-ing to my GoDaddy CPanel hosting account randomly.

At first I am able to ssh into my account and works fine. But randomly I'll get a:

Connection to "GoDaddyIP" closed by remote host.
Connection to "GoDaddyIP" closed.
"GoDaddyIP" = my personal cPanel IP address.

After I get disconnected I am not able to reconnect. If I try it from same computer but different IP address. i.e. I connect to a different internet connection or my cellular hotspot, I am able to connect just fine. I've called support and they were no help. The best they could do is say "Well, I'm able to connect to that account" Of course they can. They are using a different IP. Anyhow, the IP I'm connect through is not in BlockedIP with GoDaddy and everything I've read online is of no help. Does anyone have a solution?

Using All-in-One WP Migration Plug-in

You MUST use these two settings for things to work.

  • You can use this plug-in to export your site; however, test it first with Docker and YOU CANNOT export the plug-ins. It wil break the site!
  • Also, YOU MUST go into your settings and make your permalinks

All-in-One WP Settings

You should install the plug-in to upload large files too, on your target WordPress - all-in-one-wp-migration-file-extension.zip

You can also use "Traktor-1.1.exe" to extract the files, but it might be easier to just import using Docker and WordPress itself.
