If you prefer the top row of keys to always behave as standard function keys without holding the Fn key:
$ kextfind -loaded -not -b -s com.apple
Do the following:
Open Safari
Click Preferences
Under the General tab, uncheck the option Open “safe” files after downloading

If you have Apple’s Developer Tools installed, go to Terminal and enter setfile -a V followed by the name of the file or folder. That sets its visibility attribute to invisible; you can undo this by repeating the command with a lower-case v.
Ubuntu: $ mplay filename.mp3
Mac: $ afplay filename.mp3
Hold down the SHIFT key and grab the Dock's handle bar, which separates the app icons from the folder icons and Trash, then drag the Dock to the Left, Right, or Bottom of the screen to relocate it to that position.
$ defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeInternalDebugMenu 1

Use these settings:
1. Go to Keychain
2. Click on System
3. Then go to HAL Enterprise root CA
4. And click Always Trust on “When using this Certificate”

Using Soundflower on your Macbook Pro, to record sounds from your computer
0. Install Soundflower and reboot your laptop
You will not be able to monitor your session on your laptop, if you wish to follow the audio, you will need another device
1. Open sound, and change the output to Soundflower (ch2)
2. On the Quicktime choose from the dropdown Soundflower (ch2)
3. Start your recording
4. When done, save the recording
5. Switch your sound output back to the device of your choice
6. Enjoy your video
